MOC Learn & Connect events and MAINPORT service interruption

MAINPORT access
As we prepare to launch our new Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program credit tracking platform, we will first need to transfer your credits to the new system. While we migrate approximately 16 million pieces of data to complete the transfer of credits, you will be unable to access MAINPORT until the new platform is available.

This migration will take place from May 16 to mid-June. May 15 is the last day to enter credits in MAINPORT. We will notify you when you can start entering MOC credits in the new credit tracking system.

If you have questions or need support during this period, please contact the Royal College Services Centre at 613-730-6243, 1-800-461-9598 or cpd@royalcollege.ca

With the MOC Framework refresh, we are excited to launch the MOC Learn & Connect Series which will provide details on the new changes, as well as share the educational strategies that will support the medical community. The series will begin with two virtual events in May:

  • May 14, 2024, from 12-1 p.m. ET (English)
  • May 16, 2024, from 12-1 p.m. ET (French)

Register for the May MOC Learn & Connect events and other upcoming events throughout the summer.

Learning objectives

By the end of the session, you will be able to

  • describe the motivation and rationale for updating the MOC Program;
  • identify key elements of the updated MOC Program, including new learning activities, section descriptions, cycle requirements and other changes; and
  • explain each section of the refreshed MOC Program to promote meaningful learning.

In addition to these virtual events, the MOC Learn & Connect Series includes pre-recorded videos and opportunities for live Q&As with MOC team members.
